A predominantly young enthusiastic female chorus gave their all in supporting the main characters in this colourful in house production.

Helen Molloy led the way as the bell ringing jolly Town Crier.  As Dick Whittington, Cat Treanor gave a confident performance trying to keep his high spirited cat Tom Tom, played by Becky Smith, under control.  An admirable performance came from Pete Harrison, as Edna Average.  Imaginatively costumed, he was the comedy highlight, having a good rapport with the audience.  Heather Slonimski threw herself into the role of Edna`s daughter Fairly, with great vigour.

Becci Cogley was the evil Queen Rat, encouraging her Rat-Pack to wicked deeds.  Played by Polly Harrison, Isla Powell, Georgie Lunt and Ellie Murphy, the Junior Rats gave encouraging performances.   Mark Hayward  as Alderman Ainslie, was textbook in his role, with Clara Lane playing his daughter Harriet perfectly.  As the constabulary, Tik and Tok, Davina Caborn and Helen Roebuck added another layer of comedy.

The cast, along with the contribution by a good team of dancers, added greatly to the production.

A super set with good costumes completed a colourful and most entertaining Panto.
