Every panto needs a Dame, Principal Boy and a good story and this pantomime had the lot.
Naomi O’Borne led this talented cast as Dick Whittington with great support from Catherine Mason as Alice Fitzwarren and Simon Baker as her father. Great support came from Dave Crump as Cissy Suet and her son Idle Jack played by Bradley Reynolds. King Rat and Fairy Belle (Elliot Beech and Libby Gilbert) go the whole audience joining in when they came on stage. It was also good to see Amelia Crump back on stage as Florence. I also enjoyed the performance of Richard Pritchett as Captain Codfish. Debbie Crump gave a brilliant performance as Tommy the Cat. Always looking purrfect. The outstanding performance for me was Charlene Payton as the Ship’s mate. That role was made for her. She performed it with such a dry wit it was perfect and how the audience laughed at her.
The chorus gave great support to the principals and lighting and sound were perfect.
Another great show FTT
