Dick Whittington is one of my favorites, and still is with the Rats production this year. Helen Gaston took her cast and moulded them into shape to give us a joyous evening of Pantomime.

Kathy West as King Rat with her young rat minions, gave a solid performance as did, a book in hand ? Melody Harbour as Spirit of the bells..Josh Webb and Darren Hammock as Dozy Dave and Helpless gave us the old panto jokes .Alice, Kirsty Mackie and Claire Feekings gave us the love  element..I liked Curtis Armitage's tongue in cheek approach to Idle Jack - just perfect. Dean Gaston as Sarah the cook is so good at ad libbing, He is a master at playing Dame and working his audience. Of course Alan Godman as Sultan wowed us with a class act, bringing the Panto to a jolly end, along with the full chorus. As usual set and costumes were superb and lighting was on cue. A colourful evening was had by all.  Well-done Helen and your cast for entertaining us.
