Another visit to this talented group, but this time it was the juniors taking centre stage – and what a wonderful job they all did.

The show opened with The Imagineers, and what a way to start the concert. With loud voices, smiling faces and boundless enthusiasm, they were a real pleasure to watch.

This led into A Dream Is a Wish Your Heart Makes, featuring Freya Butler, and then seamlessly into When You Wish Upon a Star, which sounded fantastic.

The juniors performed a wonderful selection of songs, including I Just Can’t Wait to Be King, Let It Go, Friend Like Me and Dig a Little Deeper.

The next featured performance was Try Everything, sung by Imani Kasiera. Her lovely vocals made this a particularly memorable number and it was very well performed.

Go the Distance, featuring Lucie Major, was also excellent.

The rest of the show included songs such as Hakuna Matata mixed with Bare Necessities, which had the audience tapping their feet and clapping along.

One of my personal favourites was the Nonsense Medley. It was beautifully performed, with lovely vocals, and it was clear that all of the juniors were thoroughly enjoying themselves.

Musical Director Alison Bedford once again had the juniors singing beautifully. Although some of the songs were challenging, the juniors rose to the occasion and performed them exceptionally well.

When people think of concerts, they often assume that those on stage simply sing, but there is usually a great deal of dancing that accompanies the songs. This production was choreographed by Karen Woodruff, and the choreography was executed excellently.

The concert was produced and directed by David and Sallie McNeill and, once again, it was very well done. It was particularly lovely to see so many different juniors singing and taking lead roles. Well done for giving all of your juniors the opportunity to shine.

To all the juniors: you put on a wonderful and entertaining show filled with loud voices, lots of smiles and excellent stage presence.

Well done to everybody involved. I thoroughly enjoyed the concert.
