On such a dreadful night it was a credit to Three Towns that there was a full house. The audience were not disappointed, such was the quality  of singing. There was such a diverse selection of pieces.

David Hill was a great MC and as he said, there was something for everyone.
With  music from `Miss Saigon` (one of my favourites),Phantom of the Opera, Cabaret, as well as two beautiful Latin numbers, Ave Verum and Gaudete.  It really was a  superb selection.
Interspersed among the big chorus numbers there were a few solos. I enjoyed Sue Bradley`s `As if we`ve never said Goodbye`. Kathy Rowell sang a beautiful `Over the Rainbow`, and Mel Bailey with great vocals gave us `I got plenty of Nothing`. All the other solos were well sung.
With Nicola Dagnall on piano it was great to hear the harmonies, the choir under the baton of Rod Dakin. We also heard a taster from their next show `Pirates of Penzance`

My thanks to the gentleman who helped  in keeping much of the rain off me with a big umbrella. It was a lovely concert, Thank you for the kind invitation.
