Comrie Cabaret 5

It is often said that `Big things come in Small Packages` and so it was with CMS in their Comrie Hall performing numbers from the musicals to delight the small but enthusiastic and appreciative audience. Good singing featured throughout the show with opening numbers from Queen, through Show Stoppers, Cats with the wee ones superbly costumed and painted, Bond favourites and a finale of rousing Scottish numbers including a guest piper. There was also a clever `4Chord Song` featuring Michael Burns, Kevin Smith and Richard Waghorn translating four chords on the piano into different harmonic rhythms for well known songs. Dance routines were skilfully introduced during the evening with numbers from the `Great Gatsby` featuring strongly. Overall this was an excellent, homely evening’s entertainment ending with the now traditional refreshments and the opportunity to meet the cast. Well done to everyone on and off stage.
