It’s a dark and stormy night, and our cast of oddball characters has been invited to a very unusual dinner party. Each of the guests has an alias, the butler offers a variety of weapons, and the host, Lord Boddy is, well, dead. So, whodunit? Join the iconic oddballs known as Scarlet, Plum, White, Green, Peacock and Mustard as they race to find the murderer in Boddy Manor before the body count stacks up.  What’s clear is that they all have something to hide and the mystery grows.  Based on the popular board game, Cluedo is a madcap comedy that will keep you guessing until the final twist.

I have to say the set was well thought out.  Each section of the stage had a sign above it, so you knew where the action was taking place.  The whole of the stage was used.  I particularly enjoyed the use of the trap door in the stage and the opening of walls and portraits which arms came through to carry out the murders.

The cast of eleven really worked well together, and you could tell that and I wish I could mention everyone.  Michelle Worthington stood out as The Cook and Shaun Hartman as Wadsworth the butler who was the narrator of the piece.  Some of the moments of comedy had the audience laughing out loud.  The falling light fitting, the cook hitting everyone over the head with the tray and the moustache which kept falling off.

Mark Shaun Walsh and all the cast must be really pleased with this play which they performed to a near sell out audience.

Thank you so much for the invite and I look forward to returning to The Crescent very soon
