Cinderella

~~A traditional pantomime by Ben Crocker with all the regular characters that we associate with Cinderella.  Carole Presbury (Fairy Godmother) gave a serene performance, the only oasis of calm as chaos and mayhem surrounded her.  Nice portrayals from Cat Howourth (Prince Charming) and Niamh Barradell (Cinderella), as our hero and heroine.  A good portrayal by Joshua Robinson (Buttons),  creating a good rapport with the audience.  A madcap comedy duo, Snitch  and Snatch were in the capable hands of Yvonne Baird and Tracey Robinson,  and for me, Dobbin the Horse, alias  Karen Jones and Ryan Barber, a real scene stealer.  The ugly sisters,  Wayne Perry and Patricia Church  were at times loud and hilarious to the extreme.

The transformation scene was well achieved and most effective.  As usual, a good set,  superbly costumed,  the Watsons ticked most of the boxes for yet another successful panto.
