Helen Caston why have you waited so long to Direct a Panto ?
Your Cinderella this year was a “giggle” from start to finish…do it again sometime… Please. Your cast were chosen for their comedy presentation, Jo Godman was so “camp” I loved her, the Cinderella I saw had a good singing voice and worked well with Kathy West as Buttons who was a riot!!! A difficult part to play and she did this with a sort of tongue in cheek…great. Ugly sisters were adequate, but more volume needed from Dexter ?, but he is young, he will learn as he gets more experience, but looked good.Charlotte Caston as Prince Charming looked the part and what a stage presence this young lady has. Kevin Lane and Darren Hammock gave us great comedy as Bodget and Leggett. Your rendition of the cod ballet was hilarious so so clever. The rest of your cast worked hard and it showed.Choice of music was young and executed well by the cast. The Redding family’s Leigh and Chanelle choreography was simple but very affected for this small stage,Props and the set, as usual to were up to the standard we now expect from RaTs,as was the lighting, all drawn together by Dean Caston as stage manager. What a Jolly evening I and my guest had..well done Helen and your cast and Crew. Thank you RaTs for inviting me I thoroughly enjoyed my evening with you once again.
