This traditional Webster & Bradford pantomime had all the regular characters you would expect in Cinderella, with a few others thrown in as well.  A company who aged from the very young, to more experienced members,  provided a production with plenty of movement and nice groupings,  with the musical side moving with a good tempo and effective arrangements.

All the enthusiastic cast established their characters and maintained them throughout.  Joshua Robinson was a most personable Buttons who forged a good rapport with the audience. Lindsey Greasley was a charming Cinderella, good vocally, linking effectively with Amy Bradford who proved to be an admirable Prince Charming, matching Lindsey, both in acting and vocals.   I liked Josephine Walker and Julie Black who were hilarious throughout as the Ugly Stepsisters.  They extracted every piece of humour, and the audience lapped it up.  Further comedy from Lucy Gazzard as Miss Fitt, and Hannah Thornton as Britney from Chumpneys Spa, was a highlight. And I certainly  wouldn`t like to have crossed swords with Kerry-Ann Roe as the domineering Baroness Lucretia Hardup.

Another highlight was the transformation scene, which was most effective.

Good chorus singing, superb costumes and  props,  with effective lighting on a very impressive set, complimented the performance.
