Cinderella is generally the favourite of all the Pantos and Jade Rogers, who played the title role was delightful, looking and sounding just right.  Jack West was a very good Buttons and John Walsh as Baron Hardup had a lot to put up with regarding his wife, the redoubtable Baroness Hardup played with panache by Phil Armstrong.

The Baroness' daughters, Grizelda & Gertrude, were played with great vigour by Donna Bull and Stephanie Verral - they had such wonderful costumes and made the most of them with their hilarioous actions.  Ali Gibson was a veritably charming Prince Charming with Michaela Twaits as his handsome valet Dandini and Steve Llewellyn and John Tester as Bodget & Leggett gave the sort of comedy loved by children of all ages.

At the beginning, the Fairy Godmother arrived as a member of the audience but was soon transformed into the character we love and Sue James gave a lovely performance.  Every other part, including the chorus and the children playing the Forest Animals all added to the fun and the scenery was ideal with the transformation scene working very well.  A very good sound from the  musical accompaniment.  Lots of hard work had gone into this production, both on and off stage and I'm sure much fun was had by all in bringing Cinderella to life once again.
