CINDERELLA

Did I enjoy this pantomime? Oh yes I did, this was entertainment at its best from beginning to end. It was a pantomime of all stars with all the cast shining at times. The cast was led by a most charming Principal Boy, Prince Charming (Melanie Harrison) and a delightful Cinderella (Charlotte Walshaw). Nigel Dixon (Ugly Sister Begonia) was again at his brilliant best and was well supported by Alan Sykes (Ugly Sister Petunia). Richard Wayman gave us a master class on how to play Buttons, he surely has few equals when it comes to playing light comedy parts. All the remaining cast were outstanding in their supporting roles. The excellent sets, costumes, great lighting and sound with a fine orchestra resulted in a superb production.
