LMTS performed the iconic Musical CATS.

CATS has a very loose storyline however plenty of variety.

There is a large principle lineup however all members of the cast did an excellent portrayal and it is very difficult to pick out anyone in particular.

The opening number was lovely to watch and set a high standard for the rest of the show.

The characteristics were maintained by all during the course of the show.

Although I especially enjoyed the numbers of Mungojerie and Rumpletester and Skimbleshanks the Railway Cat, that is only a personal preference and has no bearing on the excellent quality of the other performances.

Costumes and make up were creative and worked perfectly for the show.   The Set was a fixed set and the idea to have it in a derelict theatre worked perfectly.

The band led by Matt Flint was beautifully played.  Choreography was expertly done and captured the essence of CATS.

The only downside being that due to some technical issues the lyrics were in some numbers were a little difficult to understand although this did not distract the cast from their performance.

Overall an enjoyable performance.
