This was different to the normal pantomime stories, a Ben Crocker script using most of the Camelot characters with a few additions. It was well presented by Joanna using the restricted space very effectively, especially with the relatively large cast. Peter had chosen a good mix of musical numbers which worked well with the storyline. The roles of Prince Arthur and Guinievere were nicely portrayed by Brandon Thomas and Tayla Davie working well together. Lauren Greenhalgh was a suitably wicked Morgan Le Fay assisting Valerin The Vicious get his way, a great character performance by Luke Neeve. The comedy was in the capable hands of Paul Wood who gave us a good traditional comic dame and Nic Pelham, a great Laughalot. Luke Fletcher gave a strong performance as King Uther and Cassidy Hankinson was a lovely Nell while Tom Munro and Harrison Reynolds were fine in the roles of Melin old and young. Julie Cookson was an endearing Teddy and Laura Barrett a strong Marlon. The choreography and dance was fine, coping with the confined space well. The costumes were good and colourful, the set simple but effective and the back stage work efficient.
Overall an enjoyable performance, certainly by the audience reaction.
