Calendar Girls

A story to touch the hearts of many, but with Peter producing, there were many occasions when there were some very funny situations providing great laughs. The company played to a packed audience who thoroughly enjoyed every minute and I'm quite sure the cast did too.

The six young ladies who played the main parts were ideal and their characters were so well portrayed. Angry outbursts or giddy moments  were all played to perfection and the loss of John was felt by everyone. The other supporting characters were all admirably played - from the 'Lady' to the cameraman - they were a pleasure to see.

The set was the ideal W.I. meeting room which was well used and the front cloth of a lovely rural view was wonderful (as usual for Marsden). Congratulations everyone.
