This play moves from comedy to tragedy in a moment. The cast were lead by Denise Phillips as Chris and Elena Serafinas as Annie who moved the audience from laughter to tears. Louise Farmer played the quiet Ruth, who after her nude session came out of herself. They were well supported by Dorothy Goodwin, Faye Arrowsmith and Deborah Loweth. Joanne Ellis played Marie, leader of the local W.I. who, when she first came on stage looked like Marjorie from ‘Fat Fighters’. The set was well made and lighting was up to the usual Sutton Arts standard, high. On sale during the show’s run were calendars that the cast had produced for Leukaemia Research. This production was excellently staged and a credit to the company. One thing the cast did was appear nude not naked.
