The company rose to the challenge within the limitations of the Tweedie Hall and gave their audience an evening of  fun and enjoyment in the wild west.  Their interpretation of Calamity Jane was of a very high standard with colourful costumes, bright scenery, and a well drilled orchestra. Gill Gilmour (Calamity Jane)  and Roy McGregor (Wild Bill Hickock) performed well together both bringing out the comedy in their parts. Alyson Lamond (Katie Brown) gave a very polished performance. Connor Going (Lt Danny Gilmartin) gave a performance to be remembered and blended in well with the rest of the principals.  Craig Inglis  (Francis Fryer)brought many a laugh to the audience with his witty performance. The rest of the supporting principals gave a very high standard of performance. The singing from the chorus and also from the principals was well rehearsed an carried out well. The showgirls from the Golden Garter gave very polished performances.  This production, the last to be given in the Tweedie Hall before demolition was definitely a show to be remembered by all.  Congratulations to one and all. I look forward to seeing your pantomime in the new Tweedie Hall in December.
