Dennis Potter a well established English playwrights "Blue remembered Hills" is a difficult piece, but Darren Hammock (Director) got his cast on board and they succeeded to a very high standard indeed, and he should be very proud of them.I enjoyed all performances in this talented cast. It's difficult enough to play kids when you are an adult, it can very often be over played, but this cast got it just right, even to the point where Steve Berry (John), Jo Godman (Angela) and Kerry Bailey (Audrey) had to play adults playing kids playing adults; excellent! Curtis Armitage as the stuttering Raymond kept his stutter at a good level, well done to this young man.  Grant Flanagan (Peter) and Alan Godman (Willie) gave us stunning performances as these two boys, their timing was perfect, accents and nuances of their facial expressions were hilarious at points in the play. Kevin Lane as the snotty nosed Donald gave a good performance and we really felt for him. The set was small but very workable and dressed for the period exceptionably well.  Well done RaTs this play deserves good audiences, it is, at the top of its field for drama.
