This very powerful show was presented to audiences as a play long before it became a musical and in both genre one is captivated from the beginining. This production directed by Norman Hockley did not fail to please. The very involved emotions needed for this play were extremely well portrayed by a very strong cast with the part of Mickey Johnson played by Tom Grainger, Henry North as Eddie Lyons the twins seperated at birth, Mrs Johston played by Debbie Heveran & Mrs Lyons Julie Easter added to the pathos of this brilliantly written play by Willey Russell. Nick Grainger as the Narrator added a faultless performance to the evening. They were very ably supported by Hannah Levenston as Linda and Chris Marshall as Sammy. The set design by Andrew McGowan although simple added to the smooth running of the play. Overall it was an outstanding evening of theatre thoroughly enjoyed by a packed audience.
