Having seen this play several times over the years I must award this production full marks for the amazing sequence of special effects during the very final moments. The poltergeist's handiwork was totally amazing. Heartiest congratulaions  to those responsible for the set; it was exactly right. The wardrobe department got things right, too and great care had been taken with the ladies' hairstyles. All the characters were played exactly as I imagine Noel Coward intended, and the result was an extremely funny evening's entertainment. For example, Madame Arcarti, the strange 'medium' was played by GDS newcomer Susan Paez to perfection and Gemma Dove's rather scatty Edith, the maid, was quite delightful. This was a remarkably good performance and I've just about run out of superlatives.
