Sarah Marr (Belle) was ideal for her role and the perfect foil for Lee Power as The Beast (with facial prosthetics from FX Warehouse Inc., Philadelphia, PA.,)  who gave us a strong character with both his diction and singing.  James Turnbull (Gaston) played to his character with great support from Daniel Burns as Lefou.   Chris Poplett (Lumiere) maintained his accent well throughout with Ian Radburn (Cogsworth) having the right amount of pomposity.  Jo Pandolfi (Mrs Potts), Rachel Yelland (Madam de la Grande Bouche) together with Catherine Scott (Babette) all fulfilled their roles excellently.  William Barratt (Chip) was clear with his diction and singing.  Mark Mowbray provided the malevolent character Monsieur D’Arque with conviction. Kevin Stuart as Maurice together with Mandy Harris, Louise Nancarrow and Siobhan Radburn as The Silly Girls rounded off a fine cast.   There was excellent singing and diction from all the principals who were well supported by The Ensemble and the children with both their singing and movement.

John Harries-Rees had ensured this was a first class production which drew the audience into the story.
