Bridgnorth MTC celebrated their Diamond Jubilee in fine style. This show was an absolute delight. John Biddulph had the orchestra under tight control and brought the very best from the lovely score. Singing was strong, articulate and a joy to listen to.
Will Hayward and Jemma Game were convincing in the leading roles and they were supported by a talented cast. Special mention for Peter Morris (Cogsworth), Robin Cooper (Lumiere), Sylvia Best (Mrs Potts) and Barbara Devey (Wardrobe). These four were delightful and made every line of dialogue come to life. Deanna Humphries (Babette) flirted outrageously every time she appeared.
First class props and lavish costumes.
I am sure the full house audience were more than happy to be the guests at this diamond evening.
