Report

Author: Alan D Smith

It seemed strange to have no children's chorus but the rest of the cast made up for it. Jack and Jill played their parts well and had a strong relationship. Nick Nack and Paddy Whack provided the typical 'Brokers Men' atmosphere, along with a very good Dame - Nurse Merryweather - who lost no opportunity to use the children in the audience - especially the Cubs - at every opportunity. Mutch the Miller, in my opinion, did her best in holding the panto together and made sure that the Sheriff got his comeuppance towards the end of the show, with Robin Hood making certain that he won the duel and also Maid Marion.
