Song and Dance from Around the World it certainly was - a most enjoyable performance devised and directed very well by Sarah Baker and Angela Gordon. As we arrived, we were greeted and shown to our seats by one of a team of very smart Air Stewardesses and as the show started we were asked to fasten our seat belts and prepare for takeoff for our journey around the world. Our journey took us to many countries, all giving us a good flavour of the places we were visiting. There were songs from some very well known musicals and films and others from those not so well known and each section was handled seamlessly with scenery to match. I'm not a great fan of recorded music, but this time is worked well. After the interval, having been served with tea and cakes, we were off again to other exotic locations. The programme included some very good dance sequences well devised by Mo Munday and Sarah Baker. The colourful programme was well designed and gave all the information necessary. Well done to all involved with the show - a very enjoyable 80 minutes.
