~~With a cornucopia of shows ranging from Love Never Dies to Shrek, Les Miserables to Burlesque and from Rent to Charlie and the Chocolate Factory there was something to suit every taste, this was a show which showed off the talent of this society, there were no stars except for the society itself.
Each section had an introduction which told the audience some interesting and maybe lesser known facts about that particular show and this led in very nicely to the song or sections which were performed extremely well.
As I have said there was plenty of variety and I very much doubt there would not be something to suit everyone in the audience and judging by the applause each section received I am certain this was the case.
One of my favourite sections was Sister Act which, as with all the other sections, was performed to the very high standard we have come to expect from this society and it was good to see almost the whole company dancing in the Fosse number Sing Sing Sing, a rousing number featuring the company dressed in black and white.
Dee Bennie Marshall must be very pleased with the results of this show which as well as the members on stage also had some really creative lighting to add to the set.
The only criticism I would have would be the music being too loud in some numbers which resulted in the singers on stage hardly being heard, this does sometime happen with backing tracks.
All in all a great show, congratulations to all involved, and thank you for your continued hospitality.
