This show had it all. Superb vocals from soloists and chorus with excellent musical accompaniments, very well executed innovative choreography and much humour delivered with clever timing. Katy Tabor (as Reno Sweeny) gave an accomplished performance, she was just right for this part and her delivery of Cole Porter greats such as 'Anything Goes' and 'Blow, Gabriel, Blow' brought her the resounding applause she so richly deserved. Rob Callaby (as Billy) demonstrated his vocal versatility within his song treatments, I was particularly impressed with his crooning style. Jon Molson (as Elisha Whitney) exhibited his extensive comedic talent and gave the impression he very much enjoyed doing so.Stephen Bromby (as Lord Evelyn Oakleigh) rendered his version of 'The Gypsy in Me' in such a manner as to instantly excite a considerable number of females in the audience - or could it be they were really all members of his extended family! The sets were well designed and constructed in house and the stage crew made the necessary changes with commendable efficiency. This production involved a large cast, all of whom performed with style and enthusiasm. Congratulations to you all on this wonderful team effort.
