Annie Jr

Wow! This was an enthusiastic cast who gave us a delightful evening of entertainment.

‘Annie’ is a well known musical and this production although the Jr version still contained a lot of the numbers we know and love. The quality of the singing was excellent, a well rehearsed and confident performance. The direction was slick and polished. I loved the way the cast used the stage and managed the set. The set was simple and effective ensuring that the children’s performance was foremost. Everyone in the cast was focused and presented their roles well. Special mention must go to the Principals. They all performed their socks off and congratulations must go to all for bringing the story to life. The story of ‘Annie’ is dependant on a creditable Annie and this is what we saw. I was so impressed by this young lady. Congratulations to Charlotte for a memorable performance. Well done to the production team for encouraging and supporting the children while installing in them a knowledge of stagecraft in its many forms.

I hope to see many more productions by this talented group. Enjoy the rest of you run. You deserved your standing ovation!
