It was easy to forget that all the characters in this production were being played by youngsters aged up to their mid-teens such was the maturity displayed. This was especially noticeable in the performances given by Joel Robertson as Warbucks and Lucy Cowie as a wonderfully inebriated Miss Hannigan. Katie Dewsberry was excellent as the feisty Annie and Louise Matheson as Grace was the very essence of the elegant and efficient secretary. Robbie Scott as Rooster and Hannah Morrison as Lily St Regis were a great comic pairing and their rendition of “Easy Street” with Miss Hannigan was a step perfect showstopper. Strong support was given by Jack McCreadie as President Roosevelt, Findlay Cassie as Bert Healy and Findlay Cassie as the Drake the Butler. Zoe, the Golden Retriever, was a perfectly behaved Sandy. Singing and dancing by the whole company was first class. All cast, crew and production team should be proud that all the hard work put in resulted in such a fine show. Well done!
