Annie

Anna Watkins who played 'Annie . sang well and had good stage presence. Her fellow orphans were obviously very well schooled in their parts and judging by the smiles on their faces enjoyed every minute. The drunken Miss Hannigan was characterised by Claire Jackson with Ricky Dowell as her brother Rooster and Jennie Hall as his gal Lily who all put their stamp on the production. As Daddy Warbucks Steve Humpherson tackled the part well. Melanie Glazzard as Grace Farrell looked very smart and had all the poise of a billionaire secretary and thrilled all with her rich singing voice. All those in supporting cameo roles gave good performances. Sandy the stray dog who Annie adopts behaved beautifully.

The production team created an entertaining evening full of attack and pace. Well done everybody
