This was a very enjoyable show with some fine acting by a good group of principals well supported by an energetic chorus. It had a good basic set but I would have liked to see more of a visible change for the Warbucks home. Very impressed to see the way scenery and props were moved on and off by the young cast. Well done! The lighting was well managed throughout. The voice production of the members of cast without their own mikes was quite good but they do need to always project their voices to maintain the balance with the cast members who have mikes. Overall the diction was excellent. There were some excellent performances especially from Katherine Evans, “Miss Hannigan”, Nick Rew, “Rooster”, Tom Chenhall, “Oliver Warbucks”, Natalie Thorn, “Grace Farrell” and RosieMellett, “Annie”. They were well supported by some fine singing from the chorus especially from the orphans and New Yorkers. Excellent orchestral accompaniment with good balance with the stage but at times the volume did seem to take off especially during the chorus numbers. Overall a very enjoyable evening!
