‘And the Winner is’ took us back to shows that had won either a Tony or Olivier award over the last 30 years and what a treat it was for this sell out audience.  A lot of the numbers were from well-known shows but were lesser known songs which made it more interesting.

I really enjoyed the four part harmony when the company sang ‘Send in the Clowns’ from A little light music and ‘The Song That Goes Like This’ from Spamalot sung by Gemma Parton and Peter Bushby.

There we so many highlights in this performance but one of the highlights for me of the production was ‘It’s a Musical’ from Something Rotten.  This is what theatre is all about!

Everyone in the company gave their all during the evening and you could tell that the cast were enjoying it.  The three piece band, under the direction of Peter Bushby sounded well.  Mark Smith did a good job with the lighting and sound.

There were so many good performances during the show, to many to mention here, but, Jennifer Smith, Producer, did a sterling job in putting this concert together.

I look forward to seeing you all soon, and at the NODA regional conference in May 2020.
