This new musical, written and directed by Miriam Ridgway informs us about Matilda, and her succession and her eventual overthrow and the trials and tribulations along the way.  Performed by just 17 people this production had great gusto.

Right from the start this production looked very promising and had some fantastic harmonies, all praise to Miriam, and some good choreography.   Costumes looked good from an audience point of view.  Even though there was not much in the way of scenery the company made full use of the space available.

Ellie Wellicome gave a solid performance as Matilda with Ben Wellicome, Caitlin Doff and Ethan Cruxton giving good support.  It was also good to hear Lake Falconer singing, great voice.  Also great support came from the remainder of the company and as I said fantastic harmonies.

Miriam Ridgway should be proud of what she has achieved with this production and it was very much enjoyed by the small but intimate audience.

Thank you so much for the invite and I look forward to seeing you again in the future.
