~~Great Barr MTC's new strap line is ‘Constantly raising the bar of Amateur Dramatics’ and how they lived up to this quote.

From start to finish some very talented signers and dancers treated the audience to some wonderful entertainment.

Our  compères, James and Albert led us through this musical cacophony. I loved Jay and the company singing ‘Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious’ and Emily and Craig enthralled the audience with ‘Come What May’.  Other highlights in the first half were ‘Cell Block Tango’ and the whole company singing ‘Circle of Light’.

The second half of the concert opened with a flash mob singing ‘Oom Pah Pah’ and they had the audience singing as loud as they could.  The audience laughed out loud when The Spice Girls met the Old Spice Girls and ‘If I were not upon the stage’ was just so funny and a joy to watch.

For the finale the whole company sang ‘Celebration’ and had everyone on their feet.

Emily Stephens and the production team did a fantastic job.  The Company put so much work into the concert and it showed.

Well done GBMTC, you deserve all the praise you get.
