This production, as with Lewis Carroll’s original, ensured a wide range of characters and contained all the elements of traditional family panto.

Katie Young – Alice – looked the part and acted it competently. Good performance.

Sian Rees – White Queen – guided us through the story with a smile and had a good rapport with the audience.

Garry Sage – Mad Hatter - carried off the slightly whacky portrayal well, worked the audience from his first entrance and sustained the rapport throughout the pantomime.

Kris Waller-Thomas – Cheshire Cat – was obviously loving the part and his enthusiasm was infectious.  Full of one-liners, the innuendoes,

Arron Hart – Red Queen – was suitably nasty and seemed to be enjoying every hiss and boo from the audience.

Sean Melton – The Knave / Hamish – was played with enthusiasm by this young performer.

The main characters were well supported by the other members of the cast. The dialogue and the scene changes both moved along with pace.

One of the best things about amateur pantomimes is to experience just what can be achieved with teamwork, and to witness how the young and old in the cast can support one another and learn from each other, and this was certainly in evidence in this production.

The AV Designs by Arron Hart were excellent and added greatly to the production.

Congratulations to all involved, including the backstage crew.
