St. Paul’s Community Panto Group put on a fantastic and fun-filled show with Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves! Full of laughs, music, and energy, the cast brought the classic tale to life with great spirit and lots of charm.

Rachel Millar was a charismatic Ali Baba, and Fiona Gill had everyone laughing as the fabulous Fatima Fandango. Kirsty Small shone as the clever Marjana, with Jamie Tosh bringing big laughs as Mustafa Screwloose. Graeme Hooper and Rachel Thomson made a lovely royal pair as Prince Haroun and Princess Jasmine.

Paul Ross was a perfect villain as Asbad, joined by the hilarious Pam McGrath and Allyson Smith as Bashim and Grabbit. Alyson Duff played the wicked Alsatia with great flair, while Claire Streets brought kindness as Caterina the Good. Isla McCready, Keith Spottiswoode, Andy McKay, Emily McCready, Zoe Millar, and Joyce McConnell all added to the fun with fantastic performances.

The chorus brought loads of energy and really lit up the stage. With great music co-ordinated by Rachel Thomson and Ian Strachan, fun choreography by Rachel and Zoe Millar, and smooth running thanks to Stage Manager Peter Kennedy, this was a brilliant community show. Well done to Lyndsay Morrison and the whole team for a panto full of fun, laughter, and heart!
