This was another fun-filled village panto from this group.  All the necessary ingredients were there and it was all very much enjoyed by the audience who were definitely up for the participation - boos and hisses abounded!  The baddie, Abanazar, entered from the back of the hall and was really terrifying and then used his excellent singing voice to great effect.  The Slave of the Ring saved the day in the end - a lovely performance.  A cheeky Wishee Washee and his Mum, Widow Twankey gave great value - the Dame may not have learnt all his lines but his facial expressions said it all!.  Great panto performances from them both.  A dashing Aladdin dueted very well with Princess Jasmine and there was lots of fun from the Chief of Police and Policemen Ping and Pong, together with the Genie of the Lamp.  All those who took the smaller roles and the senior and junior choruses all helped things along.  Lovely costumes and good choreography,  The MD on keyboard was assisted by a percussionist and they made a great sound.  There was quite a bit of recorded music for the songs so in a way it was a pity that we did not hear from the aforementioned talented due.  So much work was done behind the scenes and the hall was decorated with Chinese pictures, lanterns and cut-outs of lamps, all adding to the atmosphere.
