A real fun-filled panto which had all the right ingredients to make things go with a swing. It looked very good indeed as well with Helena Olsen's lovely sets and everyone in ideal and colourful costumes. Good singing from everyone accommpanied by the excellentt musicians. Aladdin has a good storyline and all the characters were there - Evil Abanazar, a pretty Princess and Aladdin himself. Then add a Dame - a very cheeky Widow Twankey, Wishee Washee, So-Shy the princess' friend and confidante, the Emperor and the comedy duo and you have a bunch of characters who were all well cast. This includes, of course, the Spirit of the Ring and the Genie of the Lamp - two very important characters. All the movement was well designed for the small stage. Congratulations are due to all, whether on stage or doing all those very important jobs behind the scenes.
