Three Spires Guildhall started 2023 with my personal favourite pantomime Aladdin, a genie, a magic Lamp, an actual flying carpet and a whole lot of fun.

The principal cast consisted of Aladdin (Connor Harvey-Ward)  whose had fabulous performance in a principal role and was excellent all around and chemistry with the lovely Jasmine (Olivia Evans) in her first show for TSG, an equally excellent performance, characterisation, vocal ability and joy to watch.

The comedy duo of the fantastic widow Twankey (Jon Andrews) and Wishee Washee (Ian Meilke-Walton) always a pleasure to watch and these two are always fabulous in the comedy role and they play off each other so well and again, another person perfect performance from the pair.

Abanazer (Adrian Laing) was oozing evil and playing a baddie he looked like he was enjoying himself.  Scarab (Darcie Towers) was brilliant, a pleasure to watch and her voice was amazing with beautiful characteristics.

The Genie (Kieran Palmer) was fun and entertaining,The Spirit of the Ring (Rachel Curzon) was wonderfully played and the characteristics and delivery of some of the lines were brilliantly played.

The remaining principal cast of the Sultan (Dave Goodwin) and Zoya (Vicky Basterfield) were fabulously cast and played well and a pleasure to watch.

Having the Pantomine set in Agrabah was lovely to see and made me very happy, the set costumes worked, were perfect for the setting.  The chorus were wonderful. and all the musical numbers were a joy to watch a fabulous pantomime once again by TSG and written by Jamie Sherman who has the art of writing a entertaining Pantomime a lovely evenings entertainment.
