It is always a joy to come along and see this society perform, be it a concert, show or panto.  Aladdin was no exception.  This Stephen Duckham panto was superbly produced and directed by Sharron Burns.

Ellen Nicholls led the company well as Aladdin and she was well supported by Sammi Thomas as Princess Jasmine, Martin Popov as Wishee Washee and John Nicholls as Widow Twankey.  Neville Leedham as the evil Abanzar certainly gave the audience plenty to boo and hiss at.

The comedy element of the show was Sergeant Chop and PC Suey played by Jo Sedgley and Nicki Drew, who really worked well together.  Andy Nicholls as the Genie of the Lamp and Alison Gough as the Slave of the Ring also played their magical parts well.

Costumes looked good against the superb cloths that the company used.  Chorus looked good and interacted well with all of the principals.

This was a real family panto and a joy to watch.
