This was my first visit of 2016 and I was delighted to accept this invitation to St Annes  Parish. This company have produced Pantomimes for many years at The Lowther Pavilion in Lytham and it was good to see that they were still keeping audiences entertained at smaller venues in their area. In fact they were going “on tour”. It is commendable that they are helping other churches to raise funds for their individual requirements.  Paula Curtis, Director/Writer has produced an entertaining and traditional family show, with some modern local references which were enjoyed by all audience members, young and not so young. The commitment  by all was evident throughout. Una Bird was an elegant and articulate  Empress as she swept across the stage. Mac Curtis as Abanazer has a great timbre to his voice and was excellent as the dastardly uncle. Sgt Ping and P.C. Wong, Lindsay Clarke and Alison Thornton showed their experience with good comic timing. Well done to Thomas Pawson,Ruby who played the piano for the Singalong with Wishee Washee and The Scrubbers. A very mature performance.  All members of the ensemble were obviously enjoying themselves, as were all in the audience. Lovely colourful costumes  and appropriate sound and lighting ensured that  we all had a very enjoyable visit. Thank you for your very warm welcome to my wife and myself.
