'A Walk Through The West End” was a review of songs old and new. There was a very good selection of songs and they were cleverly put together and every number smoothly followed each other. The set was simple but gave great space to the large company

I liked all the selection of songs which gave a wonderful variety but I particularly enjoyed ‘Gee, Officer Krupke’ from “West Side Story”. ‘Everything I Know’ from “In The Heights” was one of the songs I knew little about but Zoe Collins sang this very well with great feeling. Matthew Hillam gave us a very comedic ‘You’ll Be Back’ from “Hamilton”. Matthew again together with Christopher Adamson gave us a wonderful but exhausting ‘A Musical’ from “Something Rotten”. There were strong vocals of ‘Another Suitcase In Another Hall’ from “Evita” and ‘This Is Me’ from “The Greatest Showman” sung by Emma Victoria Taylor and Jessica Sharp respectively. And ‘Hello’ from “The Book Of Mormon” was delivered with great humour and timing.

The evening zipped along and there was great energy from the whole company. It was good to see the youth of the society shining through in both the company and youth numbers. Thanks again for an entertaining evening and I shall look forward to the next production.
