This Christmas Concert was a joint enterprise by Stourport Choral under the Direction of Alastair Elliott and Stourport Brass Band who were joined by Lickhill School Choir. The programme of 21 festive numbers and Carols, which were sung by the Choir, Childrens Choir and audience, and sometimes with the Brass Band too and filled the Hall with wonderful music all round. The two Directors, Alastair and Ollie vied with each other on who could tell the corniest Christmas Joke when announcing their next item. The audience enjoyed the jokes if they hadn’t heard them before! It was a joyous evening of music to start the festive season and the mince pies supplied by the local Tesco were delicious and much enjoyed by all. As usual the piano accompaniment by Angela Allard was a delight and Santa, who arrived with toys for the children, strangely looked like Ken Strutts twin brother. The whole evening was a delight. Thank you.
