Back to Rheged, Penrith for a wonderful weekend of entertainment by StagedRight Juniors and Youth.

The first concert was done by the Juniors and what a splendid job they done, opening with Anything is Possible. The concert was fast flowing and some great vocals, acting and dancing.

It is always nice to see huge smiles on stage which there was plenty of these, just going to show how much fun you were all having.

I really enjoyed the Mastermind sketch done by Charlotte and Poppy N, it was very funny. Lines were delivered perfectly even waiting until the audience stopped laughing before giving their next line.

An enjoyable afternoon and this set the bar for the youths to follow on with their concert.

I was now waiting in anticipation to watch the youths doing their concert and it opened with one of the funniest clips I have ever seen, showing how they all got from Carlisle to Penrith and the mishaps that happened on the way. The audience was in fits of laughter.

There were far too many tunes to mention everyone, but I must mention a couple, Bohemian Rhapsody introduced on screen by the one and only Brian May and sung in perfect harmony by the ensemble, it was very powerful and then there was Six done by Poppy T, Olivia T, Hannah W, Kate, Rosa and Morven along with the Ensemble was also very good.

As you can tell on some of my reports, I do enjoy comedy and a huge shout out must go to Charlie, Summer, Nathan and Jess R for their Shopping at Rheged, this was all about 12 items they had bought and the first item was a bottle of water that soaked the audience everytime it came to that part of the song, at one stage there was a member of the audience with their umbrella up which really made this funny. Their timing and comedy element was of the highest level.

It is always so hard to put on a concert, but both the juniors and youths really nailed this.

Once again David and Sallie McNeill (producers) had put on another wonderful concert with the amazing help of the Musical Director Alison Bedford and her Assistant Jonathan Millican and then there was the Choreography done by Karen Woodruff which was amazing. This partnership works ever so well for the group, and you manage to get everything out of your society.

Stage also looked great so well done to the stage production Managers, Neil and Toby Cass.

The costumes done by Sallie McNeill and her team looked fabulous, you could see a lot of hard work had gone into this.

Sound and lighting was also very good.

Let me congratulate you all on your amazing concerts, you were all amazing.
