Well, Dreams “N” Wishes, you certainly know how to put on a show, this was without a doubt the best concert that I have ever seen! You won me over from the start by playing the overture from my favourite musical, Phantom of the Opera! The musical direction by Leigh Smith was excellent, the eighteen- piece orchestra that he conducted throughout the show was magnificent and the quality of the vocalist was amazing. The variety of the songs was excellent, some from old shows and some from new. The choreography from Chris Duncombe-Cooper was excellent too; it was lively, energetic and imaginative and greatly complemented all the musical numbers.

With nearly fifty musical numbers I could not possibly mention every performer individually, but I must say that the quality of vocals from each singer was of a very high standard indeed, I really enjoyed every single one! Some of my highlights were – Somewhere over the Rainbow (Wizard of Oz) with Vicky Amies – vocals and Danny Barton – Guitar.. Suddenly Seymour (Little Shop of Horrors) with Amy Mansell and Ben Robinson.. Hello Dolly (Hello Dolly), with Jasmine Heath and The Male Ensemble and Principal Dancers.. Could we start again please (Jesus Christ Superstar), with Kayleigh Quinn and Leigh Smith.. Music of the Night (Phantom of the Opera) with Chris Lay.. Master of the House (Les Miserables) with Stephen Duncombe-Cooper, Rachel Smith and Ensemble.. Cell Block Tango (Chicago) with Rachel Smith, Kayleigh Quinn, Grace Craddock, Catherine Howell, Louisa Webber and Charlotte Gomm.. Mr Cellophane (Chicago) with Michael Hutchinson.. Don’t Cry for me Argentina (Evita) with Jasmine Heath.. Reviewing the Situation (Oliver!) with Martin Lay.. The Webber Love Trio (Orchestral arrangements by Rob Parker) with Michelle Hejtmankova, Louisa Webber and Vicky Amies.. Defying Gravity (Wicked) with Elspeth Duffy.. Bring Him Home (Les Miserables .. vocal arrangements by Leigh Smith) with Chris Lay, Leigh Smith, Michael Hutchinson and James Down.. One Day More Les Miserables) with Full Company.. But my personal favourite of all was Till I Hear You Sing (Love Never Dies) with James Down, I saw the very first performance of Love Never Dies in 2010 and James moved me almost as much as Ramin Karimloo! Well done to the entire cast, you were all incredible!

The set for this production was impressive it was simple but very effective. The orchestra was visible on stage throughout the show; it looked very classy and professional. All the costumes and outfits worn were very good and helped to make the show visually very pleasing. The lighting and sound quality was excellent throughout, helping to make this an outstanding production. Congratulations to all at Dreams “N” Wishes for this first class and highly entertaining show!
