9 to 5 The Musical, with music by Dolly Parton and book by Patricia Resnick is based on the 1980 hit film. Set in the 70s, it is a story of friendship and revenge within the workplace. Three female co-workers plot to get even with their bigoted boss. It is funny but also addresses the more serious aspects of gender inequality in the workplace.

A lively production with everyone committed to making this test for performers, acting in the round, a success. A humorous and up-beat show with meaningful undertones. Great costumes and some engaging and emotional moments amidst the comedy. A few memorable songs with the signature 9 to 5 at the core of the story. Strong performances throughout and clever use of props. The energy, skills and commitment are prevalent which results in a good evening out. Watch where you sit though.
