70th Gala Concert

What a wonderful way to celebrate Kentish Opera's 70th anniversary and to honour their past Director for many years, Sally Langford. This certainly was a tribute to director Sally. I have been witness to Sally’s directorship, and she will be a sad loss to Kentish Opera.

Robyn Sevastos guided us through the programme of popular operas, sung wonderfully by soloists Stephen Antony Brown, Helen Bailey, Peter Grevatt, Natasha Day and the glorious Kentish Opera’s chorus. Robyn’s narration was very informative, giving us an insight to the work that Sally has directed. It was also touching that her husband and son were in the audience, and her daughter was in the chorus.

Thank you, Kentish Opera, for letting me and my guest be part of your celebrations for Sally and your 70th year. Keep up the good work for Opera in Kent.
