Held annually on the Saturday preceding Armistice Sunday, KAOS stages an annual charity Concert featuring the chorus of the Society with the Gordon Cree 52-piece Concert Orchestra and a guest artiste. On this occasion, the London West End artiste Tober Reilly was the guest singer when he sang numbers from “Chess”, “Carousel” and “Cinderella”. Compered by the irrepressible Robin Hume, the programme featured numbers from “Les Miserables”, “South Pacific” and “Annie”, which is the Society’s forthcoming Spring production. The KAOS chorus of just under fifty contributed numbers from many shows, past, present and no doubt, future. Gordon’s excellent orchestra provided three memorable spots in the programme, the final one being an Armistice Tribute. The Concert was once again a near sell-out and the Charity benefitting from the evening was once again the highly deserving Ayrshire Hospice. Excerpts from the Concert can be viewed on Tony Reilly’s website.
