This was quite a demanding new musical, a good storyline and catchy tunes but not always easy music to pick up. However it proved no problem for this group with a very successful production. Amanda made good use of the stage with good grouping and plenty of movement, maintaining the feeling of the storyline throughout. Geoff handled the musical side very well resulting in great music from pit and stage. The young very talented cast was led by James Murray with an excellent all round performance as Evan. Ella Greenwood was very good as Patrice as indeed was Georgia Hodgett-Young as Kendra. Oliver Turnbull gave us a great Brett while Philip Coe provided a lovely character performance as Archie. Charleigh Hurst put some spirit into her role as Lucy and also demonstrated her lovely dancing ability. The set was simple but effective, the costumes fine and the lighting nicely used. It was great entertainment and really good to see such high standards from the young performers.  The whole cast put everything into the production, showing such talent, enthusiasm and teamwork and I am sure they will help to ensure the future of the theatre be it amateur or professional.
