Show Director Wanted

Carmarthen and District Youth Opera is looking to appoint a new Show Director for its 2018 annual musical production.

The Company is recognised nationally as one of the leading Youth Theatre Groups and has a long successful history of presenting high quality musical productions. The Company is, above all, about giving opportunity, without prejudice in any form, to young people wishing to experience theatre, whether it be music, dance or technical support. Typically, a CDYO production will have a cast of about 70 young people.

We are looking for a new creative and inspirational Show Director to join our vibrant and enthusiastic team of volunteers to continue driving forward the organisation and be a part of our ongoing development.

You should ideally have experience of working in musical theatre with young people, volunteers, and a background and involvement in directing and producing musical theatre. You should be a team player as well as being a creative thinker who can turn ideas into action and inspire others.
