Applications for Director and Choreographer

LADAMA are proud to announce that our next full company production will be the award winning Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s iconic musical EVITA. The show will be staged in Lochgelly Centre from Wednesday 29thMay to Saturday 1stJune 2019.

We are looking to appoint a Director and Choreographer for this show and invite applications for these positions:

To assist the Committee in comparing applications and assessing the relative merits of applicants, anyone wishing to put themselves forward for a position is asked to include the following information on their application: 

Director 

·       Past experience – either as a Director, performer or both 

• Ideas for the show i.e. 

Ø  Overall vision for the production 

Ø  Audition/rehearsal timescale i.e. how many weeks required for pre-auditions, musical rehearsals, and rehearsals 

·       Set - Ideas for suppliers 

·       Costumes

• Lighting & Sound 
• Anything else that makes the application stand out 

Choreographer 

·       Past experience – either as a choreographer or dancer with relevant experience 

• Ideas for the choreographic elements of the show 
• Anything else that makes the application stand out 

Process

Applications are welcome from all interested parties regardless of whether they are current members or not. The Committee will consider all application on Thursday 5thJuly.  We will then look to invite suitable applicants to a selection panel later in July, date still to be determined.
